One-hour clinic on Sunday evenings at 6:15 pm that covers power skating and hockey skills!

An ice fee of $25 is due at the time of registration. Please bring $45 cash to be given at the front desk at check-in prior to getting on the ice.

Sharpen'D' skates are designed for our D League Players looking for extra skill work, beyond Adult LTP, skating and hockey skills, with Coach Joe!

Twenty on-ice practices will be designed to cover all areas of the game and run at a high pace against other elite players at specific age groups. Players at Mercer Selects has four age groups:  Mites (half ice and full ice), 2015/2014, 2013/2012, and 2011/2010.

Practices will be Monday and Wednesday for Mercer Selects. Starting time will be between 6pm and 9:15pm.

Train the team how to play at the highest level and to compete against some of the top AAA/Junior players in the country.

2024 Program Information:

Cost: $825 includes 20 hours of on ice training & TWO Tournaments.

20 hours of on-ice Development Practices (end of April through July 18, two times on ice weekly)

Teams will play 10 games with a playoff/championship to follow.

Does your child ask to play ice hockey? Are you concerned about the cost? Ice Land has an option for you – our in house league – Junior Rangers Rookie League! (Think rec soccer, rec baseball, etc.)

*Junior Rangers jersey included! *Must know how to skate. This is not Learn-to-Skate or Learn to Play! Players must have graduated from Learn to Play or the Mini Chiefs and be ready for our Rookie League! 5-13 Years Old. (The system will NOT allow you to register anyone over 10. Use the highest birth year OR 2912 as a bypass.) Birth Years 2006 and older are encouraged to join our Adult Learn to Play. *We do not know ahead of time the amount of players we will get for each age group. Players will be grouped as closely to their age group as possible.

Our Learn to Play program at Ice Land is under the direction of the Junior Rangers program, ran by Coach Brian.

Players MUST know how to skate to join this program. We also highly recommend joining our Learn to Skate classes in conjunction with LTP in Pre-Hockey 1, 2, or Hockey Skating Skills 3, OR taking private lessons.

The Learn to Play Hockey Rookie Program includes a hockey equipment starter kit for first time players. The gear will be provided by Rangers Learn to Play, from helmet to skates, and all questions will be directed to them! This is NOT a Learn to Skate Camp. Campers must know how to skate already. The first half of the day will be outside, and the second half of the day, on the ice. Please check our camp webpage for all necessary items and information.

Each year we bring together the best coaching talent to provide a camp that always provides quality instruction in a fun and exciting setting. We offer the most innovative instruction, designed to meet the needs of today’s player. Our full day camp is open to players born in 2009-2015 at the Mites to Bantams levels. Our program emphasizes skill development and isolates individual weaknesses for improvement.

Each day the students improve existing skills, learn new skills and enjoy the game of hockey.

*Campers will receive an email closer to camp about what they need to bring, arrival and departure procedures, etc. Emails generally go out a few days to a week prior to camp. It will come from our Emma email account. If you have unsubscribed to any of those from us, you will NOT receive an email. Please let us know if this is the case.*Campers will need to bring/buy their own lunch.*Each camper must hand in a printed copy of the Required Camp Form along with their immunization records. Saturday Mornings

Our Adult Learn-to-Play under Foundry at Ice Land is thriving! We are so glad to bring this exciting program to our adult skaters! We have no doubt, you will be joining our Adult Hockey League in no time!

Under the direction of Heather O’Connell and her team, you will learn the basics of hockey, game play, skating skills and stick/puck handling! Join the fun – it is NEVER too late to learn!

Our Mini Chiefs are multiplying! Aren’t they the cutest?! We just happen to think so! Does your little one dream of playing hockey?! Enter the Mini Chiefs. Our Mini Chiefs are our 3-6 year olds who want to hit the ice in hockey gear and shoot some pucks around! We mean, who doesn’t?! BUT they still need to continue to learn their important skating skills. Our Mini Chiefs MUST be enrolled in our Learn-to-Skate classes OR be taking weekly private lessons. Many think they don’t need to continue skating lessons once they are in hockey gear and they couldn’t be more wrong. Even the best players in the world,still take lessons. There is always room for improvement, especially in skating skills. The Mini Chiefs learn through fun, age-appropriate, skills, drills and games with Coach Brian and his staff. Many of last years Mini Chiefs are on our U6 + U8 Mercer Chiefs Mites travel teams this year!

Is your child over 7? No problem – our Learn to Play program is at the same time on Thursdays! With Learn-to-Play you have the option to add Learn to Skate and we highly encourage you to do so! Learning on the ice NEVER ends!
